Department Information:
Sharif University of Technology’s Industrial Engineering Department was founded in 1968 as the first Industrial Engineering department in the Middle East. The IE department teaches and conducts research in various interdisciplinary areas. There are currently 160 graduate students and 400 undergraduate students studying at the department.
