It is with profound sadness that we mourn the loss of a cherished and esteemed Dr. Musa Khalesi Zadeh. Our hearts go out to his family, as well as to his colleagues, students, and alumni of the Industrial Engineering Department.
The late Professor Khalesi Zadeh made invaluable contributions to the country and the university. He was the founder of the University’s Information Technology Center, a key contributor to the development of academic programs in the Faculties of Computer Engineering and Industrial Engineering, as well as the founder of the National Organization of Educational Testing. He pioneered and organized the first nationwide university entrance examination in Iran. Professor Khalesi Zadeh also designed the university’s first software systems, including those for education management, payroll, and human resources, and played a leading role in the development of computer-based systems across various major industries in the country. He introduced numerous cutting-edge courses in the fields of Industrial Engineering and Computer Science and Engineering.
He leaves behind a legacy that will forever be remembered. His dedication to the field of industrial engineering and his unwavering commitment to education have left an indelible mark on our hearts and minds.
