On Thursday, September 24, 2025 (3rd of Mehr 1404), coinciding with the start of the new academic year, the inaugural gathering of the MicroMaster program in Intelligent Supply Chain Management (ISCM) was held with the participation of professors, students, and industry guests, supported by Bank Keshavarzi. The event aimed to foster interaction and networking among the program participants, as well as to discuss the country’s significant challenges in supply chain management, particularly in the agricultural, food, and automotive industries.
During the gathering, Dr. Mohammad Reza Akbari Jokar, the scientific director of the program, addressed key challenges in supply chain management and proposed strategies to overcome these obstacles. Following his remarks, Mr. Ali Bahrami, CEO of Kerman Khodro Parts Design and Engineering Company, discussed the challenges and importance of effective and intelligent supply chain management, emphasizing the critical role of education in this field. Dr. Sadegh Noori, Deputy of Business Development at Bank Keshavarzi, also presented the bank’s latest initiatives and products aimed at facilitating financial flows within agricultural and food supply chains.
Furthermore, the gathering provided an excellent platform for exchanging ideas among industry guests, professors, and students. Several attendees, including Dr. Reza Samizadeh, CEO of Fakhr Holding and Secretary-General of the Sharif University Alumni Association, and Dr. Mahdi Esmaeili, Deputy of Logistics at SAPCO, shared their insights on the current supply chain challenges facing the country.
In conclusion, Dr. Majid Rafiei, Dean of the Faculty of Industrial Engineering at Sharif University of Technology, outlined the faculty’s plans and initiatives to deliver world-class educational services to the country’s industries.
