دانشکده مهندسی صنایع دانشگاه صنعتی شریف، به عنوان برترین دانشکده مهندسی صنایع کشور، با هدف توسعه و آموزش مفاهیم و دستاوردهای جدید علمی از سالیان گذشته اقدام به برگزاری مجموعه سمینارهایی در حوزههای مختلف مهندسی صنایع نموده است. این مجموعه سمینار در راستای بخشی از اهداف اصلی دانشکده جهت ارتقای آموزش همگانی و مسئولیتهای اجتماعی این واحد تعریف شده است و بدین منظور، هر ساله، با دعوت از برترین محققین دانشگاهها و موسسههای تحقیقاتی خارج از کشور، طیف وسیعی از موضوعات جدید مورد نیاز جامعه علمی و صنعتی کشور را مورد بررسی قرار میدهد.
